Why ‘Miso’?

Miso Legal’s process was originally inspired by ‘mise en place’, a system used in high end restaurant kitchens to enable chefs to work more productively. Mise en place morphed into ‘Miso’, Japanese fermented soybean seasoning.

Will all my data be safe?

Data security will always be Miso Legal’s main priority. Your data is protected by Microsoft, (who state that they invest over $1 billion each year on security) and we ensure that we are continually following best practices when it comes to data security.
All data is written to multiple disks instantly, backed up daily, and stored in multiple locations. Files that our customers upload are stored on servers that use modern techniques to remove bottlenecks and points of failure.
Whenever your data is in transit between you and us, everything is encrypted, and sent using HTTPS. Any files which you upload to us are stored and are encrypted at rest. Case data is also encrypted at rest. Our backups of your data are also encrypted.
